Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh temuan eksplanatif yang teruji tentang, (1) pengaruh pertumbuhan aset terhadap profitabilitas, (2)pengaruh struktur modal terhadap profitabilitas, (3) pengaruh pertumbuhan aset terhadap stukrtur modal dan pengaruh pertumbuhan aset dan strukutur modal terhadap profitabilitas. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif kausal. Jumlah populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 15 perusahaan yang terdaftar di sub sektor perkebunan bursa efek Indonesia. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) pertumbuhan aset berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, (2) struktur modal berpengaruhnegatif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, (3) pertumbuhan aset berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal, dan (4) pertumbuhan aset dan struktur modal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas.
