Abstract

This study explores the implementation of differentiated instruction integrated with technology in English classes at SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja, focusing on three aspects: content, process, and product differentiation to cater to students' varied needs and interests. The research involved six tenth-grade English teachers as the sample to conduct this research. The study employed qualitative and quantitative data collection methods using a sequential exploratory mixed-method design. Qualitative data from observation sheets revealed teachers implemented differentiated instruction integrated with technology across content, process, and product dimensions. Regarding content differentiation, teachers utilized various digital learning tools tailored to students' needs and interests. They employed diverse learning strategies and methods to accommodate different learning styles in the process dimension while offering technological assignments for students to demonstrate their understanding of the product dimension. Questionnaire data was used to assess teacher readiness, indicating that two teachers exhibited very high in level of readiness. In contrast, four others demonstrated high readiness to integrate differentiated instruction with technology. Readiness was evaluated based on effort, willingness, and capacity. The findings emphasize the crucial role of teachers successfully implementing differentiated instruction integrated with technology based on three aspects of content, process, and product to effectively meet students' individualized needs. This study emphasizes the significance of teachers in implementing differentiated instruction integrated with technology in the English classroom at SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja.
