Abstract
TRADISI NGEJOT PUNJUNG SEBAGAI WUJUD MEMPERTAHANKAN KEARIFAN LOKAL (LOCAL WISDOM) MASYARAKAT DESA ADAT TEGALALANG BANGLI DAN POTENSINYA SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR SOSIOLOGI DI SMA Oleh Ni Nyoman Dianitami, NIM 1714091011 Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengapa Tradisi Ngejot Punjung masih dipertahankan oleh masyarakat di desa Tegalalang Bangli (2) Bagaimana strategi pemertahanan tradisi Ngejot Punjung desa Tegalalang Bangli, dan (3) Aspek-aspek apa saja yang terdapat dalam tradisi Ngejot Punjung yang memiliki relevansi dengan pembelajaran sosiologi di SMA. Tradisi Ngejot Punjung sebagai wujud di dalam mempertahankan kearifan lokal (Local Wisdom) yang terdapat di dalam masyarakat Desa adat Tegalalang Bangli dan bisa dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar sosiologi di SMA. Kearifan lokal adalah produk hasil dari masa lalu yang runtut secara terus-menerus yang dijadikan sebagai pegangan hidup miskipun bernilai lokal didalamnya dianggap sangat universal. Kearifan lokal tercipta dengan adanya kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat atau sering disebut dengan Tradisi. Salah satu kearifan lokal yaitu tradisi Ngejot Punjung yang sudah dilaksanakan di Desa Adat Tegalalang 1 hari sebelum hari raya galungan ditengah-tengah gempuran arus modernisasi. Tradisi ini masih dipertahankan oleh masyarakat Tegalalang, hal ini dikarenkan masih menjujung nilai-nilai sosial yang terdapat didalamnya sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai pegangan hidup. Tradisi Ngejot Pujung ini memiliki potensi sebagai sumber belajar sosiologi di SMA. Kata kunci : Tradisi, Ngejot Punjung, Pemertahanan, Kearifan Lokal, Sumber Belajar. The Tradition of Ngejot Punjung As A Form Of Maintaining The Local Wisdom Of The Tegalalang Bangli Traditional Village Community And Its Potential As A Source Of Sociology Learning In High School By Ni Nyoman Dianitami, NIM 1714091011 Sosiology Education Study Program ABSTRACT The present study aimed at findingout: (1) The reason of why Ngejot Punjungtradition is still maintained by the people of Tegalalang village of Bangli,( 2) The strategy used by people in Tegalalang village of Bangli in maintaining the tradition of Ngejot Punjung, and (3) The aspects of the Ngejot Punjung tradition which have relevance to sociology instrutions in high school. The Ngejot Punjungtradition is a manifestation of maintaining local wisdom foud in the Tegalalang village of Bangli, which can be used as a source of learning sociology in high school. Local wisdom is the product of the knowledge gained through a series of activities and the passed on from generation to generation that is used as a guide for their lives. Even this tradition is considered very universal. Local wisdom is created by the community or often referred to as tradition. One of the local wisdom is the Ngejot Punjungtradition which has been carried out in the Tegalalang village a day before Galungan holiday. From the study, it was found that Ngejot Punjungtradition was still maintained by the people of Tegalalang Village. It was because the people believed that the social values of this tradition could be used as a guide to live a better life. Therefore, Ngejot Punjungtradition had the potential as a source of learning sociology in high school. Keywords: Tradition,Ngejot Punjung, Retention, local wisdom, Learning Resources.
