Abstract

Cerita Matsya Awatara merupakan salah satu cerita Mitologi Hindu, yaitu menceritakan tentang penjelmaan Dewa Wisnu ke bumi untuk menolong seluruh makhluk yang ada di bumi dari banjir besar. Tujuan pembuatan animasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat penonton 2D dalam negeri dan mengenalkan cerita Mitologi Hindu kepada masyarakat luas. Implementasi animasi 2D ini menggunakan aplikasi pendukung seperti Camtasia 2018 dan Adobe Photoshop CS6 sebagai media perancangan animasi 2D ini. Metode yang digunakan pada animasi ini adalah Metode MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle). Hasil yang diberikan oleh penguji media, penguji konten, dan penguji aset dari Animasi 2D Mitologi Hindu Matsya Awatara sudah memberikan kelayakan dan bisa dipublikasian.
