Abstract

Olahraga dapat membangun karakter secara terpadu, yaitu memadukan dan mengoptimalkan kegiatan pendidikan dan juga interaksi sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pembentukan karakter mahasiswa melalui TP. Permainan bola kecil dan anak. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa angket atau kuisioner dengan jenis kuisioner tertutup, permasalahan yang diamati meliputi 9 aspek karakter yaitu 1. Religius, 2. Tanggung jawab, disiplin dan mandiri, 3. Jujur, 4. Hormat dan santun, 5. Kasih sayang, peduli dan Kerjasama 6. Percaya diri, Kreatif, Kerja keras, dan pantang menyerah, 7. Keadilan dan kepemimpinan, 8. Baik dan rendah hati, 9. Toleransi. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembentukan karakter mahasiswa melalui TP. Permainan bola kecil dan anak dengan rata rata hasil kuisioner dari 89 mahasiswa dengan jawaban kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase jawaban 96,74%, Kategori tinggi dengan hasil jawaban kuisioner dari 3 Mahasiswa dengan persentase jawaban 3,26%, dan tidak terdapat hasil yang menunjukan di jawaban sedang, rendah dan sangat rendah. Mahasiswa akan dapat menjaga dan meningkatkan karakter yang baik, baik di lingkungan belajar maupun di lingkungan sosial. The purpose of this study is to determine the formation of student character through TP. Small and child ball game. The research design used in this study is a type of quantitative descriptive research using survey methods. The research instrument was a questionnaire or questionnaire with a closed questionnaire type, the problems observed included 9 aspects of character, namely 1. Religious, 2. Responsibility, discipline and independence, 3. Honest, 4. Respect and courtesy, 5. Affection, caring and Collaboration 6. Confident, Creative, Hard work, and never give up, 7. Justice and leadership, 8. Kind and humble, 9. Tolerance. Based on the results of the analysis of quantitative descriptive data, it can be concluded that the formation of student character through TP. Small ball games and children with an average questionnaire result of 89 students with very high category answers with a percentage of answers 96.74%, High category with the results of questionnaire answers from 3 students with a percentage of answers 3.26%, and no results show in moderate, low and very low answers. Students will be able to maintain and improve good character, both in the learning environment and in the social environment.
