Abstract
Teaching English can be a challenge sometimes for teachers. In the traditional style of teaching English, teachers depend a lot on books, which is the mainstream media for students to learn. Apart from books, students constantly need to find source material either through articles, clipping or books. These materials can often be found in a form of small texts condensed into a small format with minimal images. These materials can often be a source of boredom as it is particularly tedious to read them page by page every day. On the other hand, technology offers a lot of convenience and entertainment. Fusing both the convenience of technology and the education of conventional learning materials becomes necessary. Therefore the purpose of this research is to develop a suitable supplementary learning material in the form of a Visual Novel which is both technologically advanced and educational. The method used in this research is research and development using v-model as a research model. The said method leads to a fruitful result with 100% after test score for Functionality, Reliability and Compatibility and another 86.5% toward the playability
