Abstract
This research is aimed at examining "The Application Of Audio Visual Media (Avm) On The Listening Skills Of Class x Students At Sma Negeri 1 Seririt". This research uses qualitative research methods and collects data through observation and interviews of three class and the learning process using audiovisual media (video), namely Pre-Listening, While-Listening, and Post Listening. The results of this research show that the application of AVM can help teachers in teaching listening and can improve students' listening skills, students become more interested and creative in learning listening so that learning is absorbed well. However, some teachers stated that the use of AVM needed to be relearned and was difficult for traditional teachers to implement because they had to learn it. This is not an obstacle for them in implementing AVM because after learning it, it is easier for them to teach listening and students' listening skills can improve and learning becomes more effective.
