Abstract
REMOTE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT CONTROL SYSTEM VIA THE PLN NETWORK By Mohamad Ridwan Garin Nugroho, NIM. 2255025007 Applied Undergraduate Study Program, Electronic Systems Engineering Technology, Department of Industrial Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Vocational School ABSTRACT The use of electrical energy in everyday life has become a basic human need. There are several remote control systems such as radio wave control, infrared light control. One way of remote control can be carried out by utilizing the PLN electricity network installation by overlapping control signals, so as to minimize the amount of lead wire used in controlling electrical equipment via the PLN electricity network. The aim of making this tool is to design a remote control system over the existing PLN electricity network by superimposing a control signal with a certain frequency on the network. The test results of this tool can transmit a control frequency signal of 200 kHz with a beam distance of 50 meters. The conclusion from the results of this research is that the tool can control electrical equipment remotely via the PLN electricity network.
