Abstract
The lack of supplementary materials causes the learning process less interactive. Likewise, the lack of technology utilization makes the learning process less effective and hinders student development. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of developing an e-storybooks integrated with the Merdeka Curriculum for fifth grade students. This research used Design and Development (D&D) model with a focus on four aspects: Analysis, Design, Development, and Evaluation (ADDE) and involves a blend of qualitative and quantitative methods. The stages of this research include analyzing learning problems and student needs, the learning process, initial interviews with teachers and students as well as document analysis. Furthermore, the blueprint about the storyline, aktivities, visual, slide, and exercises was made according to the students’ needs, teachers’ suggestion and materials based on the curriculum. After that, made the e-storybooks layout. Next started developed the e-storybooks using two applications. The last stage was the product evaluation stage involved feedback from experts and users. The results showed that these e-storybooks were very beneficial and useful in language learning that can improve students’ language skills and provide an interesting learning experience. The findings of this study can add insight to other educators, researchers, and curriculum developers to be used as appropriate.
