Abstract
This study focuses on creating an electronic module based on pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) to assist fifth-grade homeroom teachers at SD Negeri 1 Suwug in teaching English. The research utilized the Design and Development (DnD) methodology by Richey and Klein (2014) and applied the ADDE model, which includes four stages: Analysis, Design, Development, and Evaluation. The analysis phase involved observing English teaching practices and reviewing relevant documents. The design phase was centered on developing the e-module blueprint. The development phase involved drafting, revising, and finalizing the emodule prototype, while the evaluation phase included user feedback. Instruments used in this study included observation, document analysis, and expert and user evaluations. Expert 1 rated the PCK-based e-module as "good," while Expert 2 rated it as "excellent." Despite the differing ratings, the overall feedback indicates that the module is valid and useful for fifth-grade teachers. A one-day field trial showed a positive response from the fifth-grade homeroom teacher, with user feedback reflecting an "excellent" rating. Therefore, the study concludes that the development of this PCK-based e-module supports fifth-grade teachers in enhancing their English teaching.
