Abstract

This study aims to investigate whether there is a significant difference in the English vocabulary mastery of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Astina who are taught using Liveworksheets compared to those taught using conventional learning media. The independent variable in this study is the use of Liveworksheets, while the dependent variable is students' English vocabulary mastery. A quasi-experimental design with a post-test-only control group was applied, involving 54 students divided evenly into an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 27 students. Data were collected through a vocabulary post-test and analyzed using inferential statistics via IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results showed that the mean post-test score of the experimental group (M = 87.03) was higher than that of the control group (M = 71.66). Furthermore, the independent sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000, which is lower than 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference in vocabulary mastery between the two groups. The effect size (Cohen’s d = 1.926) also indicated a strong effect of the treatment. These findings confirm that the use of Liveworksheets as an interactive digital learning media significantly enhances students’ English vocabulary mastery.
