Abstract

ABSTRAK Puspita Dewi Palgunadi, Ni Putu (2020), Pengaruh Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Accelerated Learning Cycle (ALC) berbasis E-Modul Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah dan Koneksi Matematis Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi Pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19. Tesis, Pendidikan Matematika, Program Pascasarjana, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. Tesis ini sudah disetuji dan diperiksa oleh Pembimbing I : Prof. Dr. I Gusti Putu Sudiarta, M.Si dan Pembimbing II : Prof. Dr. I Made Ardana, M.Pd Kata-kata kunci: kemampuan, pemecahan masalah, koneksi, ALC, E-Modul Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Accelerated Learning Cycle (ALC) berbasis E-Modul terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah dan Koneksi Matematis Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Mengwi tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 sebanyak 277 terdiri dari 9 kelas. Sampling pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas yang berjumlah 62 siswa. Penelitian ini dirancang dalam desain Posttest Only Control Group Design. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan tes kemampuan koneksi matematis yang dilakukan secara online. Data dianalisis menggunakan anava satu jalur. Hasil penelitian penunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran ALC terhadap pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Mengwi pada masa pandemi COVID-19, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,031dan (2) terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran ALC terhadap koneksi matematis siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Mengwi pada masa pandemi COVID-19, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,042. This thesis has been tested and examined by supervisor I: Prof. Dr. I Gusti Putu Sudiarta, M.Si and supervisor II : Prof. Dr. I Made Ardana, M.Pd Keywords: ability, problem solving, connection, ALC, E-Module This study aimed at understanding the effect of E-Module based accelerated learning cycle (ALC) toward problem solving ability and mathematical connections of grade VIII students at SMPN 4 Mengwi during the COVID-19 pandemic. The population of this study were all students of grade VIII at SMPN 4 Mengwi in 2019/2020 academic year consisting of 277 students with 9 classes. This study used cluster random sampling technique. The samples used were 2 classes consisting 62 students. This study was designed in a Posstest Only Control Group Design.The instrument of this study were a problem solving ability test and a mathematical connection ability test which was conducted online. Data were analyzed by using one-way ANOVA. The results of this study show that: (1) there is an effect of ALC learning on solving mathematics problem of grade VIII students of SMPN 4 Mengwi during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a significance value of 0,031 and (2) there is an effect of ALC learning on the mathematical connection of grade VIII students of SMPN 4 Mengwi during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a significance value of 0,042.
