Abstract

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MODEL INTEGRATED WITH TECHNOLOGY AT SMK N 1 SERIRIT By I Gusti Ayu Agung Gita Puspita, NIM: 1912021134 English Language Education ABSTRACT The Merdeka Curriculum's emphasis on student-centered learning is consistent with project-based learning and technology integration. This study investigated the implementation of a project-based learning model integrated with technology, as well as students’ beliefs about its implementation. An exploratory sequential mixed-methods design was employed in this study. The qualitative phase was based on classroom observations of an English teacher implementing project-based learning integrated with technology in four twelfth-grade Hospitality classes at SMK N 1 Seririt. The quantitative phase involved 125 students who completed an adapted Beliefs About Language Learning Inventory (BALLI) questionnaire in the context of project-based learning integrated with technology. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively based on the six stages of the Project-Based Learning framework, and quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings showed that the observed English teacher implemented project-based learning integrated with technology across all four classes. Technology was used to support project activities, and most students were actively involved in the learning process. Furthermore, the questionnaire findings showed that most students reported high beliefs toward its implementation, suggesting that they viewed its implementation positively. Keywords: Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Technology Integration, Students’ Beliefs, English Instruction, Vocational Education.   THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MODEL INTEGRATED WITH TECHNOLOGY AT SMK N 1 SERIRIT Oleh I Gusti Ayu Agung Gita Puspita, NIM: 1912021134 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris ABSTRAK Penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi sejalan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa sebagaimana ditekankan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi serta mengetahui keyakinan siswa terhadap penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain mixed methods dengan pendekatan exploratory sequential. Tahap kualitatif dilakukan melalui observasi pembelajaran terhadap seorang guru bahasa Inggris yang menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek terintegrasi teknologi pada empat kelas XII Program Keahlian Perhotelan di SMK N 1 Seririt. Tahap kuantitatif melibatkan 125 siswa yang mengisi angket Beliefs About Language Learning Inventory (BALLI) yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam konteks pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi. Data kualitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan enam tahapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi, sedangkan data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru bahasa Inggris yang diamati telah menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi pada keempat kelas yang diteliti. Pemanfaatan teknologi mendukung pelaksanaan kegiatan proyek, dan sebagian besar siswa berpartisipasi secara aktif selama proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki keyakinan yang tinggi terhadap penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi, yang mengindikasikan bahwa mereka memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran tersebut.
