Abstract

ABSTRAK Dwi Ary Kumala, Kadek (2021), Pengaruh Kinerja Guru dan Dukungan Orang Tua Terhadap Motivasi Siswa Belajar IPS pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. Tesis. Program Studi Pendidikan IPS, Program Pascasarjana, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. Tesis ini sudah disetujui dan diperiksa oleh Pembimbing I : Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. dan Pembimbing II: Dr. Drs. I Putu Sriartha, M.S Kata Kunci : kinerja guru, dukungan orang tua, motivasi siswa belajar IPS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja guru dan dukungan orang tua terhadap motivasi siswa belajar IPS pada masa pandemi covid-19 di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja secara parsial dan simultan. Tujuan lain dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru dan orang tua dalam pembelajaran IPS secara daring di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional. Data diperoleh melalui angket/ kuisioner, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya diuji dan dianalisis dengan metode uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variable bebas yakni kinerja guru dan dukungan orang tua secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap motivasi siswa belajar IPS. Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru dan orang tua dalam pembelajaran daring diantaranya kurangnya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, sulitnya mengukur pencapaian pembelajaran daring, kurang memahami karakter peserta didiknya serta kesibukan orang tua dalam mendampingi anaknya. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher performance and parental support on students' motivation to study social studies during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja partially and simultaneously. Another objective of this research is to find out the obstacles faced by teachers and parents in online social studies learning at SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. This research is a correlational study. Data were obtained through questionnaires/questionnaires, interviews, and document studies. The data obtained were then tested and analyzed using the data quality test method, classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that all independent variables, namely teacher performance and parental support partially and simultaneously have a significant positive effect on students' motivation to learn social studies. The obstacles faced by teachers and parents in online learning include the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure, the difficulty of measuring the achievement of online learning, lack of understanding of the character of the students and the busyness of parents in accompanying their children.
