Abstract
The present study aims to develop vocabulary supplementary material game-based using Educandy for tenth-grade SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura. This research using Design and Development (DnD) contains three steps which are design, development, and evaluation of the product. The researcher has conducted pre-observation at tenth grade SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura to seek further information. There are six instruments used in this research such as researcher’s note, blueprint, instrument validation sheet, content expert judgment sheet, media expert judgment sheet, and user experience questionnaire. The data of this study were collected by analyzing the flow of learning objectives or Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) and the existing problem of vocabulary mastery at the tenth grade SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura. This study employed mix-method data analysis which are using qualitative and quantitative data analysis to answer the research questions. The process of developing the vocabulary supplementary material game-based using Educandy was used to answer the procedures needed to develop the material. A user Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) was employed to answer the Quality of the material. This study is using five topics chosen from the ATP developed using Educandy. The result of this study shows that vocabulary supplementary material developed using Educandy are attractiveness 1.90 (Excellent), Perspicuity 1.80 (Good), efficiency 1.48 (above average), Dependability 1.74 (Excellent), Stimulation 1.91 (Excellent), and Novelty 0.78 (above average). These result means that the product developed does not need revision and meet the requirements of supplementary material.
