Abstract
This study had purpose to develop project-based learning activities in alignment with the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka. Several evidences have been exposing similar matter in different context but lack on development of PjBl’s activities in accordance with Kurikulum Merdeka. This with RnD research design with mixed method approach was conducted in specific setting based on purposive sampling. This research was conducted in junior high school particularly SMPN 3 Sawan. There are three main research questions revolved around the specifications needed for developing PjBL’s activities, the prototypes of project-based learning activities, and the quality of the prototypes developed. There are 85 students, 5 teachers, and 2 stakeholders who participated in this study. The data collections were obtained using three instruments namely questionnaires, interview guide, and document analysis. The result, 3 main research findings have been revealed, namely: 1) there are eleven specifications needed for developing prototype of PjBL’s activities; 2) there are two prototypes of PjBL’s activities developed for teacher and students; and 3) there is high quality exposed of the prototype developed. Further, this study can help the teachers to implement effective project activities in accordance with the Kurikulum Merdeka requirements.
