Abstract

Hasil identifikasi masalah pada studi awal menunjukkan pemahaman konsep dan sikap ilmiah siswa dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas X Multi Media 1 SMK Negeri 1 Sukasada rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan penerapan model Contextual Teaching and Learning dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan sikap ilmiah fisika siswa kelas X MM 1 SMKN 1 Sukasada. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMKN 1 Sukasada dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 35 orang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep dilihat dari data yang diperoleh setelah tes pemahaman konsep pada siklus I dan II. Masing-masing siklus nilai rata-rata pemahaman konsep siswa pada siklus I sebesar 73,43, standar deviasi sebesar 7,9 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 68,6% dan pada siklus II didapatkan nilai rata-rata pemahaman konsep siswa pada siklus II sebesar 78, standar deviasi sebesar 7,19 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 85,7%. Nilai tertinggi yang diperoleh siswa adalah 90 dan nilai terendah sebesar 65. Sikap ilmiah siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari observasi pada pertemuan 1 sampai pertemuan 6. Adapun hasil sikap ilmiah didapatkan rata-rata skor sikap ilmiah siswa diperoleh pada siklus I pertemuan 1 sebesar 7,44, pertemuan 2 sebesar 7,74, pertemuan 3 sebesar 7,6 dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata skor pertemuan 4 sebesar 7,57, pertemuan 5 sebesar 8,46, pertemuan 6 sebesar 9,06. This study aims to prove the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model can improve the understanding of concepts and scientific attitudes of physics in class X MM 1 SMKN 1 Sukasada. The method used is descriptive-qualitative method. The study was conducted at SMK 1 Sukasada with 35 students. The results showed an increase in understanding of the concept seen from the data obtained after the concept understanding test in cycles I and II. Each cycle the average value of students' understanding of concepts in the first cycle was 73.43, the standard deviation was 7.9 with a classical completeness of 68.6% and in the second cycle the average value of understanding the concepts of students in the second cycle was 78 , the standard deviation is 7.19 with a classical completeness of 85.7%. The highest score obtained by students is 90 and the lowest value is 65. The scientific attitude of students shows an increase from observation at meeting 1 to meeting 6. The results of scientific attitudes obtained an average score of students' scientific attitudes obtained in the first cycle of meeting 1 was 7.44, meeting 2 was 7.74, meeting 3 was 7.6 and in cycle II the average score of meeting 4 was 7, 57, meeting 5 was 8.46, meeting 6 was 9.06.
