Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effect of Padlet use in the Think-Pair-Share strategy on reading comprehension, critical thinking, and their simultaneous effect among first-grade senior high school students. A quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group was employed, involving 72 students from two intact classes. The experimental group was taught using Padlet-integrated Think-Pair-Share, while the control group was taught using conventional Think-Pair-Share. Data were collected through a multiple-choice test and analyzed using descriptive statistics and One-Way Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). The findings showed significant effects on reading comprehension (p = 0.016) and critical thinking (p = 0.004). MANOVA also revealed a significant simultaneous effect on both outcomes (p = 0.010), with a moderate positive correlation between reading comprehension and critical thinking (r = 0.560). It is concluded that Padlet-integrated Think-Pair-Share significantly affects students9 reading comprehension and critical thinking, both individually and simultaneously.
