Abstract
Students' learning achievement in physics is influenced by several factors, namely: the internet as a learning resource and students' learning styles. The purpose of this study was to analyze: (1) the relationship of the internet as a learning resource to students' physics learning achievement, (2) the relationship of learning styles to the physics learning achievement of class X MIPA students in State Senior High Schools in Banyuwangi City, and 3) the relationship of the internet as a source of learning and learning style on students' physics learning achievement. This type of research is ex-post-facto research with a correlational design. The population of this study amounted to 384 students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri Banyuwangi City. The sample of this research was 192 which was taken using proportional random sampling technique. The collection of internet data as a learning resource and learning style uses 30 items and 30 questionnaire items, while data collection on the physics learning achievement test uses 30 multiple-choice tests. The reliability coefficient values of the internet questionnaire as a learning resource and learning style are respectively (Cronbach) = 0.706 and (Cronbach) = 0.826, while the student's physics learning achievement test is r(KR-20) = 0.710. The data analysis technique used in this study consisted of five stages, namely: descriptive statistical analysis, assumption test, one predictor linear regression test, two predictor multiple regression test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that: 1) there was a positive relationship with r = 0,595; p<0.05 between the internet as a learning resource on physics learning achievement with an effective contribution of 18.21%, 2) there is a positive relationship with r = 0.604; p<0.05 between learning style on physics learning achievement with an effective contribution of 23.28%, and 3) there is a positive relationship with R = 644; p<0.05 between the internet as a learning resource and learning style on physics learning achievement with an effective contribution of 30.49%. To improve the physics learning achievement of students in class X MIPA SMA on the subject of the nature of physics and scientific procedures, measurements, vectors, and motion in a straight line, it can be done by guiding students in positive empowerment of the internet as a learning resource and empowering their learning styles in learning physics.
