Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze students' perceptions of SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja regarding the use of Google Classroom in English learning. The study used a mixed methods approach with an explanatory sequential design, involving 262 students as questionnaire respondents and several students as interview informants. The research instruments were a Likert-scale questionnaire (23 items) and interviews guide. The results showed that 78% of students had positive perceptions of the use of Google Classroom, while the other 22% showed neutral or negative responses. Positive perceptions related to ease of access to materials and learning flexibility, while neutral or negative responses were influenced by network constraints, device limitations, and lack of direct interaction. The implications of this research are that Google Classroom can be an effective alternative learning medium, but it needs to be supported by teacher creativity, student motivation, and school facilities to optimally benefit from it.
