Abstract
The objective of the current study was to develop a project-based learning (PjBL) activity book for grade 9 English classes in SMP N 1 Singaraja under Kurikulum Merdeka consideration. The book was created using the ADDIE model from Kurt (2018). Firstly, need analysis was carried out by inviting teachers and students to take part in data collection through instruments like questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis. These results were further collected to be a fundamental consideration in designing the PjBL activities book. Profil Pelajar Pancasila and 6C (communication, collaborative, creativity, critical thinking, computational, and compassion) skills were all together inserted in the PjBL activities. During the process of designing and developing the PjBL activities, eight steps of designing PjBL activities that were retrieved from Hamidah (2020) were adhered to. Lastly, the product was tested by considering three aspects, namely content, language, and media. The result indicated that the PjBL activities were in the criteria of excellent quality and good materials. Therefore, the product of this study was capable of being applied to teachers and students as a reference when designing project-based learning activities in the class.
