Abstract
Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu, 1) Mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI berorientasi kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Waibakul Sumba Tengah, 2) Mengetahui pengaruh terhadap siswa dalam pembelajar kooperatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Waibakul Kabupaten Sumba Tengah. Desain penelitian ini adalah non equivalent kontrol group pretest-postest dengan Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Waibakul Kabupaten Sumba Tengah dan pemilihan kelompok dilakukan dengan metode teknik sampling yaitu probability sampling. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui dilakukannya tes Hasil Belajar yang hasilnya berupa skor hasil belajar, dokumentasi dan wawancara kemudian diuji dengan teknik t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, 1) Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) berorientasi kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Waibakul Sumba Tengah. 2) Pengaruh metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) berorientasi kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Waibakul Sumba Tengah.
