Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the development of multicultural educational content learning videos in Social Studies (IPS) learning for fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Banyuning, describe students' responses to the use of multicultural educational content learning videos, and analyze the effectiveness of learning videos in improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Banyuning. This study is a type of development research (Research and Development/R&D) that follows the development stages of the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were 42 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Banyuning and the social studies subject teacher in the class. Data collection methods used include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the media validity test obtained an average score of 3.82, the results of the material validity obtained an average score of 3.88, overall the average assessment in the media test obtained an average score that met the valid criteria. Student responses to the learning video media obtained an average score of 3.80 which is included in the practical category. The effectiveness test showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. In conclusion, this multicultural education content learning video media is valid and effective in improving the social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students.
